Sile is a holiday town 60 kms away from Istanbul city center but still in the city limits. To come to Sile first you need to come to Istanbul. There are several ways to come to Istanbul. Most common ways are; Plane (Ataturk Airport and Sabiha Gokcen Airport), Train and Bus.
There will be free shuttles to take you to Sile on 23rd July - Thursday from Ataturk Airport(*), Sabiha Gokcen Airport(*) and Taksim Square(European Side). Shuttles from airports will leave at around 14.00 so we suggest you to arrive earlier. If your are arriving later please contact us so we can give you the details about how you can reach the campus.
People coming earlier: Please contact us if you are arriving Istanbul earlier and need a place to stay. You can stay at one of our partner hostels right in the city center (In Taksim Square) for 8 Euros/night.

- Ataturk Airport : Ataturk Airport is the biggest airport in Turkey. All major airline companies fly to Ataturk Airport.
- Sabiha Gokcen Airport : Sabiha Gokcen Airport is the secondary airport of Istanbul. Cheaper airline companies and charter flights usually fly to Sabiha Gokcen Airport.
- Train: Especially suggest for people coming from Greece, Bulgaria and other Balkan Countries.
- Turkish State Railways: Turkish State Railways have connections with many European countries. Especially good offers for Balkan countries.
- Balkan Flexipass: Balkan Flexipass gives you chance to travel around Balkans (Bulgaria, F.Y.R.O. Macedonia, Greece, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Turkey) for 5, 10 or 15 days in a month for a cheap price. Please contact Turkish State Railways or your national railway company for more info.
- InterRail: What about having a Eurotrip? You can get one of InterRail passes and have a small trip around Balkans before or after the Cultural Medley 2009.
- Bus: Especially suggested for people coming from Greece and Bulgaria.
- Metro Tourism: Metro Tourism has busses operating between Greece, Bulgaria and Turkey. A cheap alternative to some trains.
- Ulusoy Tourism: Ulusoy Tourism has busses operating between Greece and Turkey.
- Eurolines: You can take a bus all the way from west or north Europe to Istanbul. Eurolines Pass gives you a cheap travel chance.
